Update your benefit elections.

It is crucial to update your benefit elections to reflect your new baby. Because the birth or adoption of a child is considered a qualifying life event, YOU HAVE 60 DAYS to make any changes to your benefits after the birth or adoption date. 

Call Fidelity at 800-431-2363 or access NetBenefits at https://nb.fidelity.com/public/nb/default/home to update your benefit elections and add a new dependent.

Confirm your return to work date and plan with Human Resources and the rest of your team.

As you plan your return to work, notify your manager or direct supervisor to confirm your official return to work date in advance of your actual return.
