The Maryland Patient Safety Center NAS Collaborative: A Multi-Center QI Project Improving Care to Improve Outcomes
In October 2016 the Maryland Patient Safety Center kicked off a state-wide multi-center Neonatal Abstinence Syndrome Collaborative: Improving Care to Improve Outcomes through funding from the Maryland Department of Health. Thirty-one of Maryland’s thirty-two birthing hospitals elected to participate in the collaborative, as well as the only Maryland pediatric specialty hospital with a unit devoted to extended care of infants with NAS- for a total of thirty-two hospitals participating. This webinar will discuss the key drivers, the goals, the methodology and the outcomes of this two-year project.
