Returns Policy - Online Medela Purchases

You may return an eligible item by following this return policy.

If you suspect a manufacturer defect or other warranty issue, please refer to Medela’s warranty policy.

What is an eligible item?
To be eligible for return, the item must be received by Medela in its original condition and unused, within 60 days of your purchase.  Also, a Medela Customer Service Representative must first verify your original online Medela purchase.

How to return an eligible item

  • Eligible items may be returned only after Medela approves your return request by issuing an RMA number and non-adhesive shipping label.   NOTE: A tracking number will NOT be provided under normal circumstances. 
  • Use the original packing material (or similar secure packaging) and affix a shipping label to the return package(s).  Be sure to write the RMA number on your shipping label(s).  Do not attempt to return any item without an RMA number.
  • Ship your return merchandise to Medela at the address provided, pre-paid and insured (if you wish to insure the package), using the shipper of your choice.  Medela recommends insuring the shipment; Medela is not responsible for damage or loss during shipment.

Processing

Medela will process your return and a refund will be made to the credit card used for the original purchase upon receipt of the eligible item.  Please allow up to two billing cycles for refunds to appear on your credit card statement.

Restocking fees
All returns are subject to a restocking fee.  The fee is 20% of regular orders and 30% of promotional items.  Medela does not refund any shipping and handling charges or return shipping costs.
